Now let's talk Funky !!!! Under New Management
December 2009
Funky Fun house, the number 1 indoor play area in Cambridge is under new management. With a strict goal of more fun and better value work has already began on replacing and improving the current equipment with new lazer guns, coffee machines and sound systems to name but a few.
The new owners Kevan and Jason are both family orientated. Being parents themselves their objectives to offer a premium safe children's indoor activity centre, combining fantastic play facilities with an excellent café is driven by their own family needs and high standards.
Now the fun stuff - OK so here’s the thing, Funky’s covers an area of 15,000sq feet – now that’s big !!. There’s a super large play frame covering 3 levels with slides, ball cannons, ball pools, sports area and much more !!. Add to this a super sized toddler only zone with it’s very own slide and climbing pads, a dedicated baby “play crib” and loads of tables and chairs for Mum’s, Dad’s, friends and family to sit and enjoy the fun. Don’t miss out on the great fun parent and toddler sessions. All this makes for the most comprehensive, fun children’s indoor play area around.
Next - Children’s parties are now even easier, just choose from our great line up including disco & lazer themes, give us a call and we’ll do the rest – it couldn’t be simpler. Just remember to bring the cake, candles and children.

Strawberry Fair Gets Funky
June 2009
This year's Strawberry Fair is looking forward to a Funky addition to the childrens area.
Funky Funhouse and Funky Catering are providing 'ball pits' and a Funky Pic n Mix selection, as well as a Funky Cafe - where hot and cold food will be served. The Funky team will be joining other volunteers to provide face painting; there will be a Funky colouring competition and depending on other prior arrangements - and his diary - Harry the Cat may well make an appearance…
The children's area runs along the back of Brunswick Terrace and will be open between midday and 6pm.
Susie Willis, Founder of the Funky companies is delighted to be involved; 'I have attended the Strawberry Fair since I was very young, and am excited about being involved this year, and particularly that we'll be helping to provide a dedicated area for the kids'.
'We're very grateful for the support that Funky has given us, particularly on the day but also in the build up and with preparation and planning', said Kath Austin of The Strawberry Fair.
